Vievette Henry

Head of Organizational Effectiveness

Vievette Henry is the Head of Organizational Effectiveness who is responsible for diversity strategy and governance, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), the leadership development portfolio, strategic workforce planning, succession planning and culture initiatives across AIG. She is a member of the HR Executive Group. Vievette joined AIG in October of 2014 and previously held the role of Strategic HR Business Partner for Information Technology and Audit. During her tenure, she developed and implemented a multi-phased human-capital portfolio that enabled the IT workforce transformation. Vievette has also served as the HR Lead for the Global Legal, Compliance and Regulatory Department. Vievette has extensive experience in line management, information technology, e-business, marketing, risk management and human resources in academia, financial services and pharmaceuticals. Vievette earned a B.A. in Computer Science from Clarke University and an MBA from Dowling College. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, the HR Network and Women in Banking. Vievette is a board member of the YWCA and the East Woods School in Long Island, New York. Vievette frequently participates in philanthropic activities involving education and disadvantaged women. She enjoys traveling, reading and playing tennis in her spare time.
