Valarie Daunt

As the Head of Human Capital at Deloitte Ireland, Valarie is responsible for advising and working with business leaders to think through their most complex people and business challenges.

Valarie has over 25 years in both in-house HR and as a consultant and currently leads the Human Capital advisory practice. Her client focus is on providing strategic advice to leadership teams on all aspects of People and Talent Management. She leads transformation projects with a focus on the people agenda across all industries both in Ireland and internationally. Valarie is also the Chief Operations Officer of the Technology and Transformation business at Deloitte Ireland.

Valarie has built up a broad and long-standing experience in organisation and work transformation, as well as in providing strategic assistance to, and coaching of, top management teams. She has worked with a range of global organisations and public sector bodies in redesigning their people and talent strategies to allow them realise their vision and strategy through their people. Valarie is particularly focused on ensuring organisations are resilient for the future through succession and driving skills-based organisations that are constantly evolving.

Valarie’s personal purpose is to support business growth and ensure every individual in the workforce has what they need to optimise their success and the success of the organization.
