Tim has worked in Insurance Supervision in the Central Bank of Ireland for 8 years and is currently a Deputy Head of the General Insurance Supervision Division. He works with a team of professionals who supervise large domestic general insurance companies, international insurance and reinsurance companies and are responsible for the authorisation of all new insurance companies. Tim has worked extensively representing the Central Bank of Ireland at the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority, primarily in relation to governance and equivalence. Prior to joining the Central Bank Tim worked for Pfizer Ireland and AMP (an Australian insurance company) after having qualified as an auditor in the insurance practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dublin. Tim is a Chartered Accountant and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
