Thomas Dunbar

Tom Dunbar holds global responsibility for XL Group’s overall Information Risk Management program including the company’s information risk and security strategies, tactics, planning, governance, architecture, and operations. Mr Dunbar is responsible for the company’s information security policies and standards and their associated awareness and education. He oversees the company’s IT forensics and eDiscovery efforts. He joined XL in 2002 as their first Global CISO. Mr Dunbar is the recipient of the 2006 SC Magazine CSO of the Year award.
