Mervyn Skeet

Mervyn Skeet, FCAA is Global Head of Tax and Managing Director for the XL Group of companies. In this role he leads the global tax function, which includes tax policy, tax compliance in more than 25 jurisdictions, tax reporting, tax risk analysis and management, and tax planning and business partnering. Prior to joining XL, Mervyn held various tax and other financial positions at Chubb and the accountancy firm Moores Rowland. Mervyn has worked in the insurance industry for more than 25 years, is a member and former chairman of the ABI Tax Strategy Committee, a member of the BIAC Tax Committee and a number of other tax committees.
