Marguerite Brosnan

Marguerite has been the Chief Executive Officer of AXA Insurance DAC since January 2023, responsible for leading operations across both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. She joined AXA in 2020 as a member of the Management Committee and as Director of the retail direct business, playing a key role in shaping the company’s strategic direction and operational delivery.

Prior to her tenure at AXA, Marguerite held several senior leadership positions within the Bank of Ireland Group, including Managing Director of Bank of Ireland Insurance and Director of Transformation within the bank’s insurance division. She holds a BSc in Science and Mathematics from University College Dublin, graduating in 1993, and furthered her leadership capabilities through executive studies at INSEAD, which she completed in 2018.

Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong focus on strategic development, operational excellence, and innovation in the financial services sector. She is also a member of AXA Partners, contributing to strategic initiatives across the wider AXA Group. Her extensive experience in insurance and banking, combined with her strategic leadership, underpins her role in driving AXA Insurance DAC’s growth and customer focus.
