Head of Risk, Governance and Accounting Policy, Central Bank of Ireland
Máiréad Devine is the Head of Risk, Governance and Accounting Policy in the Central Bank of Ireland. Máiréad has responsibility for the recently implemented regulatory risk system, PRISM, and for policy development in the areas of corporate governance, internal governance, fitness and probity, accounting and auditing. Máiréad was formerly a Director in the PwC Regulatory Advisory Services team and a Manager in the Regulatory Policy Division at the Bank of England where she was extensively involved in Basel II negotiations.
