Liu Gangjian

Mr Lui Gangjian has 23 years’ experience in the reinsurance industry. He is currently Managing Director of China Re Underwriting Agency Ltd and Deputy Manager of China Re Lloyd’s Syndicate 2088. He has been China Re’s Chief Representative in London since 2002. During that time he has run China Re UK Ltd, a corporate member of Lloyd’s, as a director since 2011. He has a BA in History, Beijing Normal University, an LLM in International Law, City University, London and an LLM in Economic Law with Distinction, China University of Political Science and Law. He is a qualified lawyer in China, and holds ACII and FCII accreditations.
