John O’Leary

John O’Leary is a Partner in the tax services practice and leads PwC Ireland’s financial services tax team. Specialising in insurance and banking, he advises on structured finance transactions. John has extensive experience advising on tax issues and has assisted many insurance and banking MNCs to establish and develop EU headquarter operations in Ireland. He is a regular speaker and presenter on international tax issues facing the financial services industry and is a member of the tax committee of the IFSC Insurance Group which advises the Irish government on tax policy for international financial services. John is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and an associate of the Irish Taxation Institute.
