Grainne Griffin

Gráinne Griffin is Director of the recently established Financial Education Division at the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC). The CCPC is Ireland’s statutory authority for the promotion of financial education and supports consumers in financial decision making and product choices. Previously Gráinne was the Director of the Communications, Consumer Information and Financial Education Division at the CCPC.

Gráinne played a key role in establishing Ireland’s first National Financial Literacy Strategy. She is a member of the strategy’s Steering Group and chairs the strategy’s Monitoring and Evaluation Working Group. Gráinne is one of Ireland’s first Financial Literacy Ambassadors and represents Ireland at the OECD International Network on Financial Education.
