Eoin Caulfield

Eoin is a Partner and Head of William Fry’s Insurance Department. His practice involves a combination of insurance and reinsurance work, both on the non-life and life side, together with a general corporate and financial services client base. His work spans new authorisations for (re)insurers and intermediaries; M&A mandates; various portfolio transfers/schemes; as well as on-going regulatory matters (e.g. Solvency II outsourcing, enforcement actions, own funds/capital, distribution issues etc.),

Eoin is a member of the Insurance Institute of Ireland; the British Insurance Law Association; and the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association. In addition to his legal qualifications he holds an MBS (Financial Services) and an affiliation to the Society of Actuaries in Ireland. He is a prior committee member (treasurer and co-editor) of the insurance committee of the International Bar Association.
