Brona Magee

Brona is an Irish citizen and holds a Bachelor of Actuarial and Financial Studies degree from University College Dublin. From 2006 to 2011 she was General Manager for Transamerica International Reinsurance Ireland, which was acquired by SCOR in 2011. She became Chief Financial Officer for SCOR Global Life Reinsurance Ireland in 2011 before moving to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2013 to take the position of Chief Financial Officer – SCOR Global Life Americas. In 2015 Brona was promoted to Deputy CEO, SCOR Global Life Americas where she had oversight for all technical aspects of the business, including finance, actuarial reserving, pricing, risk management and medical underwriting. In February 2017 she returned to Ireland and became Chief Actuary for SCOR Global Life with global responsibility for reserving, pricing and risk management as well as responsibility for the Irish entities. In November 2017 Brona took the position of Head of Client Solutions for SCOR Global Life, focused on the development of a suite of innovative solutions for clients around the world. Since September 2018 Brona has been appointed Deputy CEO of SCOR Global Life and has joined the Group’s Executive Committee. In her role she takes the responsibility for Global Markets, overseeing the implementation of SCOR Global Life’s strategy across all regions and continues to maintain responsibility for Client Solutions. Brona is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland.
