Bairbre Berry

Bairbre Berry is an experienced HR people and OD leader with over 25 years’ experience and a strong pan-european track record across insurance, banking, telecommunications, transport, and healthcare.

Bairbre currently serves as Chief People and Culture Officer at Credit Agricole Creditor Insurance, part of the Credit Agricole Assurances Group having previously held senior HR leadership roles at eir Ireland, The Central Bank, Friends First, (acquired by Aviva) and Central Manchester Healthcare Trust.

Across more than two decades, she has developed deep expertise in all aspects of HR including HR strategy, learning development and OD strategy, change and transformation and executive development and coaching. In the middle of a major change and transformation programme in the organisation, Bairbre has led the people and culture, effecting organisational change as part of the Executive team while steering excellent engagement results both within the group and externally via Great Place to Work. Bairbre holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, (UCD) an MSc in Human Resources and Industrial Relations, (University of Manchester) postgraduate diploma’s in Employment Law and Business and Executive Coaching from University College Dublin and a certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors.
