Ana Simao

Dr Ana Simao has held catastrophe modeling related positions for over 6 years. She started her career in

re/insurance at Benfield as Model Developer and worked as Senior Cat Modeling Analyst at Amlin. She currently integrates the Model Validation Team at AXIS. Dr Simao holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and a PhD in Geography. She is a Certified Catastrophe Risk Analyst (CCRA) and member of the Institute of Risk Management (SIRM).
