Dr. Cera Slevin

Cera Slevin is an experienced engineer and company director with 25 years across energy and climate change in Africa, Middle East, Australia and Europe. Cera holds a BEng and PhD in Mechanical Engineering and Postgraduate Diplomas in Coastal Zone Management, Leadership & Management as well as Executive & Business Coaching.

Cera founded Climate Matters in 2019, a technology led climate risk and innovation company, deploying climate modelling technology to accelerate business insights. Her engineering team are passionate about climate risk assessment and adaptation measures to make companies, assets and revenues resilient to the impacts of climate change. Climate Matters secured an Industrial Fellowship and is leading the development of a tool to quantify the benefits of adaptation measures. Climate Matters is also the Member State Facilitator for Ireland for the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change working with 8 Local Authorities across Ireland.
