Stephen Devine

Stephen is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland and graduated from University College Dublin with a Masters in Business Administration.

Stephen has a 35+ year global (re)insurance career built on strong commercial, actuarial, start-up and change management foundations. He has successfully led subsidiaries of large multi-national Groups (Zurich, AEGON/Transamerica & SCOR), including new start-ups, with a track record of establishing and growing successful, sustainable businesses.

Stephen is proud of the role (re)insurance serves and is also proud of Ireland as a source of top talent for the global (re)insurance market. He has a track record of involvement in insurance industry associations that goes back over several decades. He has been particularly interested in promoting diversity and inclusion in the sector, believing that it delivers sustainable high performance.

Stephen recently announced that he would be retiring from full-time executive life to pursue interests through non-executive roles.
