Jordi has worked in life reinsurance for more than ten years, underwriting and structuring numerous forms of conventional, financially motivated, and impaired mortality & longevity reinsurance treaties. He has extensive experience in developing new rating and pricing methods, and was involved in the development of the first tiered critical illness product in the UK, as well as developing various advanced mathematical techniques to improve risk selection. In 2001, Jordi obtained a BSc from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, majoring in Actuarial Science and Statistics. He qualified as a Fellow of the Faculty of Actuaries in 2006.
