EIF will be the flagship event of the Insurance Ireland annual calendar with a target of 400 delegates for 2019.
The European Insurance Forum (EIF) is a leading European conference for the re/insurance sectors.
Since it was first held in 1999, EIF has become a signature event in the Irish and European re/insurance and captive calendars: it is a place to learn, network and do business with peers and clients.
The conference has built a reputation for considering the strategic trends and challenges affecting the re/insurance and captive industry.
EIF2018 had a record attendance and a delegate post conference survey rating of 4.11 (out of 5, 5 being excellent). We will continue to grow the number of delegates as we create a programme that has relevance for all of Insurance Ireland’s industry sectors.
Speaking following the event, the Insurance Ireland CEO Kevin Thompson said: “The European Insurance Forum has earned a reputation for analysing the major trends in insurance and reinsurance and we were delighted to again hear from some of the thought leaders who are helping to shape the future of our industry. Their message was clear, we must be outwardly focused and innovative to harness the industry’s potential in a time of rapid change, and this was reflected in the strong audience interaction on the day”.
EIF2019 will be a one day conference followed by a networking reception and will be held in Croke Park conference centre on the 3rd October, 2019.
Ours is a global business and one that is defined by managing risk. Industry and business strategy is driven by a deep understanding of the issues and risks we face and the ever changing environment in which we operate.
We will therefore examine old issues and new challenges: regulatory harmony versus regulatory arbitrage, “re-fragmentation versus globalisation”, taxation, consolidation, new technologies versus legacy systems. And lots more.
We have had many of the world’s senior global industry figures and policy makers participate in EIF over the years. We will have more at EIF2019.
