The Post Digital Era is upon us – are you ready for what’s next?
The Accenture Technology Vision Report 2019 is the latest in Accenture’s series of annual reports that predict the most significant technology trends that will shape business over the next three years. Accenture focused this year’s report on a new “post-digital” era, where success is based on an organisation’s ability to master artificial intelligence (AI) and other new technologies. The post-digital era doesn’t mean that digital is over, but rather, that it’s no longer a differentiating advantage – and now the price of admission. The next big competitive advantage in insurance will be created by the ability to capitalise on “momentary markets,” or personalised policy and service offers tailored to customers’ unique life moments and delivered in real-time.

In recent years “sustainability” has become a strategic imperative within financial services organisations and insurance companies are working to incorporate it into their strategies and portfolios.
It is a new asset class, delivering long-term economic benefits.
Insurance and risk transfer mechanisms mitigate the risk associated with our environmental and social challenges.
Global insurance players are making great efforts and committing resources to support the Sustainable Development Goals.
